Description
Artist, musician, writer, Hassan Khan uses a variety of means of expression, from video to installation, from sound to performance, often with explicit references to current affairs and to the context in which he lives and works, the Middle East. The title of the work Live Ammunition! refers to the protests in the squares that followed the Egyptian coup d’état in 2013. It is a multi-channel composition by hand-clapping, produced by the artist, which the viewer must cross, and that refers to a moment of catharsis and freedom from the progression of rhythms and movements.
