Merano Arte is an international meeting place for contemporary forms of expression. Situated in a historical building of the Portici in Merano, impeccably renovated, the museum offers an exhibition space of over 500m², hosting exhibitions dedicated to international artists and thematic exhibitions with an intercultural slant. It is also one of the South-Tyrolean institutions most active in the field of contemporary architecture. One of the most substantial aspects of its activity is the promotion of artists working in the local territory.
