The MART, museo di arte moderna e contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto, is one of the most important museums in Europe. Founded in 1987 as an instrumental body of the Autonomous Province of Trento, it has three venues: the main museum in Rovereto, designed by the leading architect Mario Botta; the Casa d’Arte Futurista Depero, the only Futurist museum in Italy, and the Galleria Civica di Trento, dedicated to contemporary art.

The Museum Collections, of which the greatest masterpieces are on show in the permanent itineraries of the museum, stretch over the last 150 years of art history. The temporary shows investigate the periods and artists to be found in the Collections, thus consolidating the museum’s identity.
