Alterazioni Video IN/OUT

IN/OUT is a Super 8 video transferred to digital, with no audio, filmed in the locations in Giarre selected for Incompiuto Siciliano and showing the interiors and exteriors of the skeletal unfinished buildings. OUT comprises aerial images of the city, taken with an ultralight, while in IN, the camera explores the unfinished buildings, revealing their features and details. The relics of the abandoned worksites are presented from a perspective that unites reportage and an aesthetic transformation of places that creates a new architectural style, as theorized in the ten points of the Incompiuto Siciliano Manifesto.
