Intervallo appropriates the initiative to present the Bel Paese through images of RAI television program breaks in the 1960s, 70s and 80s, broadcasting “postcards” of Italian landscapes and monuments accompanied by distinctive, recognizable background music. The video features this music as well as the graphics used for the RAI Intervalli captions, but presents images of landscapes devastated by incomplete buildings.
