The Museum is based in Palazzo Pesaro, a Baroque gem of the Longhena area, and hosts major 19th and 20th-century collections of paintings and sculpture, including masterpieces by Klimt, Chagall, Kandinsky, Klee and Moore, a rich selection of works by Italian artists and a major graphics collection. The display and information interfaces were renovated entirely in 2017, providing a museum itinerary that offers a stimulating and complex interpretation of the development of a historical-artistic period, linked by the thematic and chronological fil rouge of Venetian tastes for 20th-century art.
