The collections of the GAM – Galleria Civica d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea of Turin are made up of more than 45,000 works from the 19^th century to the present day, with paintings, sculptures, installations and photography as well as a vast collection of drawings and etchings and one of the leading collections in Europe of art film and video. On the strength of this heritage, the GAM establishes an ongoing dialogue between its own historical works and the modern-day cultural debate.

The GAM provides the public with a rich programming offer: from its major shows of Italian and international artists right up to the most contemporary research dedicated to young, up-and-coming artists.
